My name is João Mendes and I am a certified tour guide. RNAAT registration nº 954/2025. II've always had a great fascination with history, traditions and culture, from the world, and, of course, that of my own country. I've also always enjoyed meeting people from different countries. But there's another reason why I'm also a guide There is so much to explore in our country, and in the Coimbra region. I home some diversified routes, with different themes, whenever possible, original, specially in Coimbra and in the region. I am proud to share in helping you to provide magnificent experiences. I also have a tour to Porto and Lisbon. Mostly of my Tours are designed to be private, or with groups.

I speak English, portuguese and Spanish.

- Old Coimbra tour ( University of Coimbra-exterior-, Bothanical Garden, New Cathedral, Medieval Old Cathedral - nterior- Monastery of Santa Cruz (visit to the church), Commerce square, Quebra Costas Square, Largo da Portagem.

wish Quarter, Aristides House, mikveh (outside)... availae from thuesday to saturday. Duration 2h , its possible between 1h30 to 4h pm.

- Conimbriga walking tour: the biggest and most well preserved roman city in Portugal: archaelogical site (wall, roman house with the fountain, baths...), museum, 3h. Everyday, possible between 10am to 3h30pm
