Do you ever feel like there is so much ..constant..?

Like everything, everywhere is trying to have some of your focus and attention? Always.

An overstimulated nervous system leads to us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected.

Especially if you’re someone who’s sensitive to energy.

What really helps me is getting out into nature, by the ocean or trees. And just breathing.

Thankful that nature doesn’t have an agenda 💖🙏 Such a peaceful place to recharge 🙏💖

Hey, I’m Gem ✨

I started this page in 2017. Initially, it set out to be a mindfulness and wellbeing page.

But over the last 5 years, I lost myself a little bit and it turned into a page that didn’t fully align with me or my values.

I made the conscious decision to take a break from for a while, but now I feel ready to come back and continue to share things with you all that I am passionate about 💖

ou have to start noticing things. The direction of the rays of sunshine, how it touches and warms your skin. The sway of a leaf in the mild breeze. The simple beauty of the flowers. The strong smell of your morning coffee. The smell of books. The wind in your hair and on your face. The quiet of the city. The calm of your soul. You have to start noticing this and start living for it ✨

Time spent for temporary happiness like movie or outing or weekend on a beach is all synthetic; with shelf life of a day or two. Work for your bigger dreams that should last for whole life. Then movie and beach would seem more interesting, realising that you have done something.⠀
