We spent a wonderful day in Azeitao, south of Lisbon, including a visit to the Bacalhoa Winery. Antonio brings an incredible depth of knowledge about Portugal’s history, wine, and cheese, and his tours are clearly thoughtful, well-curated, and meaningful.

We especially loved the rotating art collections-African art, works from Holocaust artists , and beautifully preserved Portuguese tilework dating back to the 16th century, displayed alongside aging wine barrels in a stunning setting.
