🇵🇹✨ From Mexico to Germany – Full-Circle Moments at Casa Avós Félix Lopes ✨🇩🇪

Back in August 2023, we welcomed our very first guests at Casa Avós Félix Lopes Airbnb—a group of six priests from Mexico, here in Portugal for World Youth Day with Pope Francis in Lisbon. It was the start of something special. 🙏🌍

Today, as I stepped out the front door, I was greeted by a lovely German couple—our second-ever guests, who had stayed with us for 14 days after the priest’s. They recognized me right away and shared such kind, heartfelt words about their experience at the house. They even tried to return this year, but the dates were already booked. 💬💛

Moments like this truly fill my heart with joy—knowing that this little home in Foz do Arelho has made lasting memories for people from around the world.

Obrigado to everyone who has been part of this journey so far. 🌿🌊

🦐🔥 Seafood, Views & a Sweet Ride Down – A Perfect Evening in Nazaré 🍦🚠

Last night’s dinner was a coastal dream—grilled and boiled shrimp, and fresh crab, 🦀 with crab roe on the shell all cooked to perfection at one of our favorite recommended restaurants in Sítio, Nazaré. The food was fresh, the view over the Atlantic was unforgettable, and the atmosphere pure Portugal. 🌊✨

But we didn’t stop there…

For dessert, we hopped on the legendary Nazaré funicular, gliding down the cliffside to the heart of town, where Gelatomania was waiting with our favorite scoops of creamy, dreamy gelado. 🍨💛

Good food, stunning views, a fun ride, and the best ice cream in town—a perfect night out during our stay at Casa Avós Félix Lopes Airbnb.
