Some friendships are simply meant to be lived at sea.
24 years ago, Luís, Alexandre and Casimiro met at sailing school. What started with a shared love for the sea quickly became a great friendship, followed by countless regattas, many adventures and more hours at sea than we could ever count.
And, somehow, the sea has always kept our stories connected. Casimiro once had a blue sailing boat of his own, just like the very first Happy Hour boat was blue.
Over the years, we went from friends and teammates in sailing to friends and teammates at work and today, Casimiro is an important part of the Happy Hour family.
He also holds another very special title: the first one in our team to become a dad. And, naturally, intensive training has already begun to make sure little Sebastião is ready to become a future Happy Hour skipper. No pressure, Sebastião.
So, if you’ve ever crossed paths with Alexandre Casimiro aboard one of our boats, today is the perfect day to wish him a very happy 30th birthday. And if you haven’t met him yet, we hope you will very soon.
Happy 30th, Casimiro! Here’s to many more years of friendship, sailing, adventures and good times at sea.
