On 2023, the Atlantic Festival began on June 3 with 20 minutes of Fireworks, synchronized with music, performed by FRANCE😍 Just AMAZING 😍👌🤩

It is possible to see the Fireworks inside the apartment without having to go to the big round terrace👌

Usually the apartment is always rented, making it impossible for me to watch from this privileged place 😍 ... I finally got it 🙏

The Wine Festival, in 2022, will take place from August 25 to September 11, being one of the island´s main tourist attractions that pays tribute to this precious nectar and its undeniable socioeconomic significance.

Taking place during the grape harvest in late August, early September, this event aims to recreate the old traditions of Madeira, which were developed over centuries of labour in viticulture.

This event has been commemorated since the late seventies of the last century. It begins in Funchal and includes the European Folklore Week, ornamentations, exhibitions and live portraits depicting the wine culture, as well as traditional and light music performances.

This Festival culminates in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, with the Wine Harvest Festival.

Street Entertainment - August, 25th to September,11th
The city centre of Funchal, especially the central walkway of Avenida Arriaga, in addition to the usual performance of Folklore Groups, there will be a very diversified musical program that includes light music, world music, choral singing, jazz, traditional music and philharmonic music.

Madeira Wine lounge - Praça do Povo - August, 25th to September,11th

At Praça do Povo, the Madeira Wine lounge will be set up, recreating a more cosmopolitan and contemporary environment associated with the consumption of wine, through thematic dinners that are inspired by the flavours and wines of each producing municipality. This area will also include an stage with various musical entertainment.

Concerts in the Vineyards - September, 3rd,4th,10th and 11th
A series of musical concerts taking place in different locations across the region, in a sunset setting surrounded by vineyards, held after peak heat hours, when the aromas intensify. This initiative includes sunset shows and local wine tastings.

The best place to watch the fireworks :) The Madeira Atlantic Festival sets the beginning of the summer season in Madeira, and is one of the most recent tourist entertainment events, to be held on June, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.

This event consists of a diverse set of initiatives spread throughout the month of June, with emphasis on the pyromusical shows; the Atlantic Roots Festival and the Regional Arts Week.

On the 5th of May, the Madeira Flower Festival begins and on the 8th of May, the Allegoric Flower Parade, will take place again :)

The Flower Festival is a cultural event associated the local traditions, whether through the performances of folk groups, or through the construction of the beautiful floral carpets, an event filled with lots of entertainment activities, such as music concerts and variety shows, to be held from May,5th to 29th.
