What a day!

Today we got a group tour and it was amazing!
Such a fun group of people, they had a few ponchas and were celebrating all the way. Almost everything happened, including a flat tire, but "it's peanuts" (pun intended) to all the hours of smiles, laughs and good mood.

Sometimes I really love this job ❤️

The São Tiago fortress is one of the oldest in the Funchal city from the early 1600s. It was built as a closure to the extension of the seafront walls that protected the bay from pirates.

Nowadays is a restaurant, but it is possible to visit the Fortress as well. One of the many interesting spots of the city tour I do. Ever been there?

Did you know that Madeira had a train that went from the city center of Funchal, all the way up to Monte where the tobbogans began? It actually passed by them sliding down the street and, as you can see by the picture, it only had one passenger carriage and the train was behind the carriage, not in the front 😁
