Job Description:
Overview:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships for our HR and Professional Profiles web portal based in Madeira Island, Portugal. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of clients, including both companies and professionals, ensuring their satisfaction with the database of qualified professional profiles, and helping them maximize their use of our platform. The Account Manager will also be responsible for conducting selection, recruitment, and headhunting on behalf of clients, as well as offering job opportunities to professionals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the HR industry, and a proactive approach to client management.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of HR clients, including both companies and professionals.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Understand each client's hiring needs and tailor the web portal’s services to meet those needs.
Onboarding and Training:
Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring they are set up for success on the platform.
Provide training sessions to clients on how to effectively use the web portal’s features and tools.
Client Support:
Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Monitor client activity on the web portal to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
Provide regular updates to clients on new features, enhancements, and best practices.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Analyze and report on the performance of clients’ usage of the professional profiles database.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients to help them improve their recruitment outcomes.
Selection, Recruitment, and Headhunting:
Conduct selection, recruitment, and headhunting on behalf of clients.
Source and identify qualified candidates for job openings.
Manage the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates to clients.
Job Opportunities for Professionals:
Offer job opportunities to professionals registered on the platform.
Assist professionals in finding suitable job matches and career opportunities.
Provide career advice and support to professionals.
Sales and Upselling:
Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or features to existing clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to generate new business from existing clients and referrals.
Feedback Collection and Product Improvement:
Gather client feedback on the web portal’s performance and features.
Work closely with the product development team to relay client feedback and suggest improvements.
Market Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings.
Provide insights on market trends to clients to help them stay competitive in the recruitment market.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role, preferably in the HR or recruitment industry.
Strong understanding of the HR industry and online recruitment platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Portuguese and English.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
Analytical mindset with the ability to provide data-driven recommendations.
Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of the local job market and professional landscape in Madeira and Portugal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with web portals or online platforms.
Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO practices.
Previous experience in sales or business development.
Familiarity with the recruitment market in Madeira Island.
Work Environment:
This position may require occasional travel to meet with clients or attend industry events, primarily within Madeira Island and potentially mainland Portugal.
The role is typically office-based in Madeira Island with the possibility of remote work depending on company policy.
