Dropping the van for a service and relying on Portuguese time management might’ve cost me a couple of tours, but I’ve had a great few days with Goochy and an experience that fixed my divorced head last night. Today I was back at it, Wine Not? Awesome Canadians on board and a great day was enjoyed. I’m learning more and more about wine on each of my tours, might sign up for a sommelier course this evening. ☀️

I guess i was put on Earth to do this, show people a great time that is. An absolute mess of a day, wake up in my van with my keys in the ignition, battery drained. Assistance never arrived before my 10am walk, but after a couple of beers I still got to take a 2.30 Wine Not, wine Not? Two hours of stress for the most relaxed man is probably good for me, but as I grow I see it’s definitely time I got some help. Anyone interested in working alongside this mad Aussie, hit me up, I need some help. ☀️

Just one man, might be time to employ. Getting home from today’s Wine Not and there’s an urgent booking for 5 more tomorrow. Thought I might get a chance to finally unpack my s**t at my new digs, but Leo’s can’t turn down work, especially when work is not really work at all. At least Hyde gets a night out with the boys in between. Still 3 spots for tomorrow, let’s keep this stupid run alive. Cheers for today Yanks, you Americans really are starting to make a good name for yourselves, let’s hope your World Cup delivers. ☀️

I’ve been showing people from all over the world two of the Algarve’s finest wineries, Villa Alvor ant Quinta dos Vales. I have 5 signed up tomorrow for my now famous Wine Not tour at 1.30, still room for 3 more if you haven’t yet experienced winery tours the Vagabundo, the Brodie way. I’m really hoping I get some guests for Saturday as both wineries are hosting parties I’d love to be involved in. What a day yesterday was. After a big pizza party and just two hours sleep i took an epic walking tour as I always do. Then I had just one booked in for a Wine Not tour during the day. I let Poppy know it would be a date rather than a tour and wasn’t it a beauty. Our two wineries might have been closed, I missed some turns and took Polly up paths that lead nowhere, but we both absolutely enjoyed our random day out, nonstop smiles and laughs. We still got to visit the Quinta dos Vales sculptures and sat down to some of our green wine, a splash at Sítio das Fontes was perfect and to finish with a cheese board and some red at Villa Alvor. Nothing better than a Vagabundo date ladies, hopefully it won’t be my last. Thanks Polly for such a great day out, just what the doctor ordered ☀️

What a sensational ‘Brodie’s Taste of Lagos’ tour we had on Friday. My second day in a row getting to have my favourite dish in Lagos, another at Ala do Castelo after Wombats birthday on Thursday. I really do love taking my latest tour. Fed and boozed in all my favourite places in town and it seems to be the perfect combination for my guests too. Might be time to create an evening tasting tour? ☀️

These Vagabundo tours keep going from strength to strength since Jess left me, maybe I’m meant to be a single man. Today El Capitan helped me out and helped create my best Wine Not tour since inception. Get onboard El Capitan’s buggy adventures if you want a proper day out. 12 awesome British festival loving guests, 20 years younger than normal Wine Notters made for a cracking, super successful new Brodie day. Im pretty excited about where this new single life will take me and pretty sure it will only be upwards and onwards. ☀️

Another beauty on Wednesday. 7 awesome kanooks and yanks jumping in the beat up Vagavan for a rollicking Wine Not. Going through one of the worst weeks in my 43 years, divorced on Tuesday with no money to pay for my new house. I’m glad that my work makes me happy and always makes my guests happy too. Cause without Vagabundo and my gorgeous Paislee I’d hate to think where I might be. Head up Brod’s, 50% of marriages end up in divorce, why did I ever expect any different. Cause my glass is always half full and even divorced I’m gonna make sure it stays that way. A massive year coming up, bring it on. ☀️

Just when you start thinking you run tours for the oldies you get a nice surprise and get to take 5 gorgeous Dominican Republican girls on a Wine Not day out. Apparently, I’ve got a great personality, let’s hope this personality eventually results in more than just compliments, but I’ll stick to being a patient man. Great to finish the day at Ponta da Piedade for a nice little influencer photo shoot and Volks 50th afterwards didn’t disappoint either. ☀️

Did I turn ‘Best of the West’ back into ‘Wasted on the West Coast’ my crew might’ve been older than me, but we’ve all got saw abs from the laughs enjoyed yesterday. An epic day, over filling the van like old days, I’ve never liked playing by the rules. ☀️
