After as five day break from being a Vagabundo (felt like an eternity in this incredible October) I got back at it in the most perfect of ways. Mum and my awesome 5 walking tour guests had a pretty idealic day out, W**e Not? Conversation flowed much like the w**e and we had ourselves a beauty. It’s been so special showing my mum the life of this Vagabundo man, 7 tours in 11 days, pretty sure I’ll leave her next week seeing why her boy chose this life over Melbourne. Such a special day today, not often i get to take a west coast tour these days, but there’s nothing that could make me happier. To take one with mum and five lovely guests around her age was simply perfect. Can’t wait to get this photo printed mum, you’ll be a poster on my wall forever. To share a drink at the spot I through dads ashes was incredible, love you mum, thanks for joining me as a Vagabundo for these three weeks in Lagos. ☀️ **enot

Another classic Brodie’s Taste of Lagos. So good to have mum join son of sir Lunchalot and see what I’m doing with my life. She couldn’t not be impressed with a son that makes money eating and drinking his way around town. Tomorrow I get to take her on a Best of the West, no longer Wasted on the West Coast, tomorrow my crew will all be in their late 60’s and 70’s. Looks like I’ve grown up since my early Lagos beginnings. ☀️

What an October, already my 6th W**e Not tour in 13 days and with Brodie’s Taste and Best of the West coming up next two days there’s no slowing me down. A pretty casual afternoon, but judging by my big Aussie grin I had another great time. Petanca was fun and so was our delicious bottle of red to finish the day at Quinta dos Vales. Life really is bliss for this Vagabundo in October, hope this sunshine never leaves our shores. ☀️ **enot

Talk about Sunday Funday, a W**e Not tour with mum and Pais, three generations. Pretty special to be able to show mum what I do and great to have someone look after Pais enough for me to concentrate on my guests. Pais told me today she doesn’t like my walking tours, but she’s more than happy to join driving tours. I promise I’m not trying to make this happen all the time, but forever happy that you get to join me for a day at daddy’s work. ☀️ **enot

Wow, a 40hr week of work, my first ever with Vagabundo Travel. Seven walking tours, four W**e Not’s and one Brodie’s Taste of Lagos. Jess used to hate it when I said work smarter not harder, glad she doesn’t get to enjoy my merriment anymore. The most successful week of running my business in fifteen years and it happened in October. It’s almost scary to think what I can do with this if I start putting my head down just a little. Picking up mum from the bus station at 20.20, can’t wait to show her how I live, we’re gonna have some fun this month mum, that’s for sure. ☀️ **enot

I love October, my life has gone from good to amazing. Yesterday’s tasting tour, just another classic to add to my repertoire. I’ve got this tour nailed and I’m only getting started. Mum’s here with me from Friday for three weeks, hopefully this makes me finally work on my s**t and who knows I could stay busy all year. It’s pretty fun not working on s**t though and taking life as it comes, cause things generally work out for me. ☀️ **enot

Implantação da república meant I got to take this one on today’s W**e Not tour. This definitely made it a great day for dad, I loved how needy you were all day for my attention. You got more show than usual, but you were brilliant, the park at Sítio das Fontes is special and so are the sculptures at Quinta dos Vales. it’s been a pretty amazing revelation taking you on Vagabundo and walking tours this year, long may it continue cause I love showing you places, pretty Pais and all your faces. ☀️ **enot

This one’s for you Volks and your morning coffee and cig. The life of a tour guide . Today after an epic walk I got to take these 8 Golden Girls on a ripping W**e Not day out. Perfect preparation for looking after my mum from the 9-30th of October , I’m ready mum, apparently I have a way with the older lasses. So well behaved I didn’t know myself at times, but this enigma will continue to be what you think and what he is. ☀️

At the start of my biggest run of ‘W**e Not’, Algarve w**ery tours ever, second of five in six days. Even when I can’t fill my van it’s always more than worthwhile. It was a proper day out for me, alongside my guests. Amelia asked for my best piece of advice and I said never let your age change you, my best friend is a 4.5 year old, I have friends that are 82 and 22. It’s a brilliant part of living here, ageism doesn’t exist. I wonder what the next few days will throw up? ☀️ **enot
