Since meeting these amazing 23 year old chicks on the 4th of August my life has turned around. Thanks Caro and Ange for bringing the life of this old man back. Today was amazing, this lost puppy ran into Dane, then a message from the girls to meet at Windmill (Moinho). Unfortunately the new generation aren’t built like us, but these girls sure are. What a day, what a life, thanks to all the legends that have kept me up through all of this, nothing but smiley white grins on my Insta from now on in

Bit of a late post for one of my biggest tours of the year. With 12 booked in for Thursday, Wednesdays job was looking for a car and driver to fit the rest. Steve from Zany Caffe to the rescue, great to finally show him what I do, even if it meant he was driving 4 of my guests. My winery tour is a bit different to most you’ve ever been on at least that’s what most of my reviews say. It most likely is, when the man that created it has never been on a wine tour himself. I am however proud of what I’ve created and absolutely sure that if you come with the right attitude you’ll have an absolutely fabulous day out, learn loads about wine, drink heaps of it and visit three of the most beautiful locations on the Algarve. ☀️

Looking pretty chuffed while swirling the recently awarded best Rose in the Algarve. That’s cause I am pretty chuffed, this was Saturday’s Wine Not, my fifth Vagabundo tour in five days and once again I’m sure I’ll be receiving great reviews for yet another great day out. I loved having three Aussie’s on board, the accent really comes back and listening to Triple J’s Hottest Aussie tunes of all time was special. Time for a little break now, Paislee for a few days and a bit of unheard of August rain. But I’ll be back at it Wednesday and Thursday and already can’t wait. ☀️

Brodie’s Taste of Lagos, the best tour created by this creative brain. I’ve had so much fun at work this week, it’s left me feeling pretty special that my life consists of doing nothing but my favourite things. I love my days of work, it’s not usually everyday, but this week it was. I guess it’s not everyone that would honestly prefer a day of work than a day off and for that I’m gonna continue being the happiest bloke you’ve ever met. Thanks guys for such a fabulous day, time to look after Pais now, only ever doing my favourite things ☀️

Just when you think life can’t get better, it goes and gets better. Since I turned 44 my life has got incredible, sailing boats, wine and tasting tours, quizzes I haven’t put a foot wrong. Yesterday’s taste was possibly the best yet. Beers in legends to finish and Adeena asked what was the best moment of your life ( best question ever). I’ve done some crazy, fun stuff, but when all you can think of is the day Paislee was born. #

Even when I’m not with Pais I can’t help being a family man. Thursday’s Wine Not with my Yanky’s and 3 kids under 3. I’ve never had a group in matching outfits, but Wine Not? Ever since I turned 44 my life has got soooo good. After this tour I got to MC my third quiz at Zany Caffe. It’s gonna be happening every Thursday now so can’t wait to see you all down there. ☀️

My wise friends told me eventually things would get easier for me, I’d get on with my life, I’d stop thinking non-stop about the fact I’m a divorced man. Look after your daughter, it’s all you need to do and everything will fall in place. Pais I’ll continue doing everything I can for you, you’ve been my absolute best mate through all of this. This week I finally moved on. Started with a memorable Thelma and Louise outdoor cinema at my favourite winery - Villa Alvor (Fabio and Caesar, I love you lads). How did I end up at Groove Armada in Cascais with my boy Chrisso the following night? And now, it looks like I’ll soon be starring in a documentary, more to come. About to start my third Vagabundo tour in a run of four, haven’t been this happily busy since before Covid, taking tours that didn’t even exist back then. If you know what’s good for you come to Zany Caffe tonight for this man’s third quiz, possibly the happiest MC on Earth. ☀️

An urgent booking last night had me taking my first ‘Brodie’s Taste of Lagos’ tour in over a month, but with another coming up on Friday and ‘Wine Not’ tomorrow and Thursday things are going pretty well for me right now. I can’t help but love this latest creation, eating and drinking our way around my favourite spots in Lagos, it really doesn’t get much better than this. ☀️

What a wonderful surprise in the life of this single man. 7 Leeds chicks celebrating their 30th birthdays joining me for an unforgettable Wine Not day out. They even joined me afterwards for my second night hosting the now infamous Zany Caffe quiz night. It’s been a really great month, somehow my guests have got about 20 years younger and it really is keeping this flame alight. I think I’ll be pretty happy in myself if I can keep taking these tours well into the future, I reckon I’m doing pretty well at life ☀️

What a cracking day out again yesterday, can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow. My WSET training is now flourishing, it’s like I’m back at Uni again and I’m quite enjoying it. The legend Greg up front knew I had a rubber arm and requested I take the crew for a Lagos pub crawl after the day out. I couldn’t turn that down, pretty useless pub crawl when we didn’t even make it out of Legends, an amazing, but useless night of killers at the pool table finally resulted in Greg taking home €50 smackers, a great night. ☀️
