Your responsibilities will include checking properties before guest arrivals, carrying out operational duties such as meeting and greeting guests.

A proactive attitude to problem-solving is essential to ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a flexible approach, especially during busy times, including weekends and bank holidays.

A professional appearance and a full driving license are required.

'We really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely villa. It had everything we needed for a month-long stay with our baby - we especially loved the BBQ and the heated pool! The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and some great hiking trails, and a quick drive to a few of the bigger supermarkets. We experienced some unusually bad weather and a massive storm which caused power outages in the area, but the management company was extremely helpful and responsive throughout. Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend!'

Our guests loved this Stylish Sea View Apartment:

'The apartment was gorgeous with a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean.
It was just a short walk to the beach (Praia de Porto Mos), with two ocean front restaurants, and access to the trails that run along the top of the cliffs on either side of the beach.
It was an easy 5 minute drive to old-town Lagos, the grocery store and Ponta da Piedade from the apartment.
The apartment also came with access to the parking garage on the ground floor, with elevator (and stair) access to the upper floors.
We very much enjoyed our stay and would do so again when staying near Lagos.
Destination Algarve was very responsive and professional towards all of our inquiries.
Overall, our stay in Lagos was everything we had hoped for.'

Lagos will once again be immersed in the grand epic of the Discoveries! Praça do Infante and Jardim da Constituição will be filled with life with shows, historical recreations, exhibitions, workshops, conferences and permanent entertainment. And, of course, there will be no shortage of local lively forces, with the event opening with the Historical Parade and the 16th Century Fair, where the past comes to life among merchants, artisans and tavern keepers. Inspired by Prince Henry the Navigator, the navigators challenged the unknown, transforming Lagos into a starting point for new routes and cultures. We celebrate this adventurous spirit that connected Portugal to the world. Join this journey through time and discover our history!

Entre 30 de abril e 4 de maio, Lagos volta a mergulhar no espírito épico dos Descobrimentos com a 12.ª edição deste evento lacobrigense bianual, contando com a habitual participação das forças vivas locais. Um convite a viajar no tempo e no espaço, com espetáculos, recriações históricas, exposições, workshops, conferência, visitas guiadas, animação permanente e outras surpresas.

Tudo começa com o Cortejo Histórico, a desfilar pela Avenida dos Descobrimentos. Ao longo dos cinco dias, a Feira Quinhentista ocupa a Praça do Infante e o Jardim da Constituição com mercadores, artesãos, taberneiros e animação contínua. Em diferentes pontos do recinto, pólos temáticos dão vida a episódios do passado.

O Japão terá uma forte presença nesta edição: o Espaço Japão convida a explorar a gastronomia, o artesanato e as artes tradicionais do país; haverá também demonstrações de Kyudo (tiro ao arco japonês), workshops de origami, caligrafia, furoshiki, mizuhiki, kirigami e até peças de sushi e doces típicos como o daifuku mochi.

À noite, os grandes espetáculos tomam conta do evento: “Circle of Fire”; os poderosos tambores Taiko; “Samurai Station”, “Tanegashima”, com a embarcação Santa Bernarda; e “O Primeiro Amor”sobre a história de amor impossível entre a princesa Wakasa e Fernão Mendes Pinto.

O programa inclui ainda visitas guiadas que revelam os bastidores históricos e geológicos de Lagos. Numa lógica “fora de portas”, o Cinema de Lagos terá exibições gratuitas de filmes alusivos à Ásia e o Centro Cultural acolhe, a 3 de maio, a conferência “O Encontro de Portugal com o Japão nos Séculos XVI-XVII”. Já os equipamentos do Museu de Lagos terão entrada gratuita ao longo dos cinco dias do evento.
