Around 40 IBERIAN ORCAS. Roughly 15 involved. 6 years in.

Anyway… it’s still hot, the water is still crystal clear and the kayaks are still waiting.

So yeah, we’re not done yet.

For generations, these waters have been part of the journey of bluefin tuna where the tuna goes, the Iberian Orcas may follow.

During spring and summer, they can travel north along the Portuguese coast in search of food, occasionally bringing them into waters off the Algarve.

So yes… sometimes you head out for a normal day to see dolphins and end up with orcas.

Not exactly something you can put on the schedule… who knows if next time, it’ll be your boat. 🍊

We’ve been a little quiet around here lately…

Not because we ran out of things to share, but because we’ve been busy doing what we love most, spending our days out at sea, meeting incredible people from all over the world and creating memories that will last far longer than this Reel.

This season has already been one to remember, and honestly… we’re only just getting started.

Tomorrow, we do it all over again 🍊

Ricardo Silva on the decks, the best cocktails at the bar, summer temperatures & sunset in the middle of the ocean.

The first edition was a success.

And judging by the number of spots left, tomorrow might be even better.

The first Sunset & Chill was a success.
Nobody wanted to leave, which is usually a good sign.

So naturally, we’re doing it again.
Next Sunset: June 13th
Same boat. Same sunset. Same DJ.

And if we’re being honest, the next one might be even better.

The problem with having only 80 spots is that once they’re gone… they’re gone.
…and some people will end up watching everyone else’s stories afterwards.

The ocean always sets the conditions and our job is knowing where to go.

On days with stronger swell and uncomfortable sea outside the coast, we often head into the bay of Alvor instead. The bay offers naturally calmer waters, shelter from the waves and a completely different atmosphere on board.

It’s quieter, more relaxed and honestly one of the most beautiful ways to spend the day sailing in the Algarve.

Real sailing is not about forcing the route. It’s about creating the best possible experience with the sea conditions we have.

Bad sea conditions? No problem for our sailors.
