The ocean has shaped my life. From lifeguarding near Lisbon to surfing and diving across the Portuguese coast, Atlantic islands, Central America, and West Africa, I’ve always lived between waves, science, and exploration.

As a PhD Marine Biologist, surfer and diver, I’ve had the privilege of exploring and investigating marine biodiversity across many regions. Now, I’m excited to share my passion and knowledge with the public in the Algarve through C-Adventures.

C-Adventures is about fostering awareness and meaningful connections with the sea through:

🔬 Citizen-science workshops & biodiversity surveys

The goal: to inspire curiosity, awareness, and care for the ocean — while enjoying safe and memorable experiences guided by science.
