I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the wonderful travelers who joined me over the last few days on my tuk-tuk and walking tours in Lisbon.

It has been a special time in the city, with the streets beautifully decorated, full of color, music, and joy as we celebrated the Popular Saints festivities (specially the Saint Anthony’s Day).

Sharing these unique moments, traditions, and hidden corners of Lisbon with visitors from around the world has been a true pleasure. This day honors the country, its history, culture, and the Portuguese communities living around the world. The date was chosen to commemorate the death of the famous Portuguese poet Luís de Camões in 1580. His work is considered a symbol of Portuguese identity and heritage.

On this day, official ceremonies, cultural events, military parades, and celebrations take place across the country. Portugal Day is an opportunity for Portuguese people to reflect on their history, celebrate their achievements, and express pride in their nation and culture.

Today, we celebrate Portugal Day, we remember the values, traditions, and spirit that unite Portuguese people both in Portugal and abroad.

These last days have been truly special. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined my tuk tuk and walking tours and chose me to show you the beauty, history, and soul of Lisbon.

Every conversation, every smile, every shared sunset, and every little moment through these streets made this experience unforgettable for me too.
