🥍 **Another week, another tour!

This week, the spotlight is on lacrosse as the Scotland Men’s Lacrosse Team faces off against the Towson Men’s Lacrosse Team from the USA under the beautiful Algarve sunshine.

The match was part of Scotland’s training camp and Towson’s Portugal tour, expertly organized by Sports Ventures.

And the lacrosse action doesn’t stop there! Next week, the sport makes its debut at the Algarve 7s Sports Festival in Vila Real de Santo António, bringing even more excitement to the Eastern Algarve.

We couldn’t think of a better place for a rugby tour and youth tournament than Arcos de Valdevez 🇵🇹🏉

Surrounded by natural beauty, strong traditions and a deep rugby culture, it stands out as one of the most welcoming and authentic rugby destinations in Portugal. On and off the field, it delivers the full experience.

When the opportunity came up to organize a youth tournament alongside Clube de Rugby de Arcos de Valdevez, it felt like the natural next step.

Today marked the first edition of the Primavera Rugby Fest. Clubs from across Portugal and Spain came together, creating a great atmosphere of competition, energy and camaraderie.

This is just the start. The goal is to grow the Primavera Rugby Fest into an annual international event, bringing in more teams and age groups in the years ahead.

A big thank you to Clube de Rugby de Arcos de Valdevez for the trust and partnership. Already looking ahead to April 2027 💪🌿

🇵🇹➡️🇪🇸 Grupo Desportivo de Direito heads to Madrid

GDD has set off for Madrid with 127 young players, ready for a few days of rugby, competition, and new experiences both on and off the pitch.

The squad will take part in the Cisneros Youth Festival, a two-day tournament held at Universidad Complutense, where they’ll face a variety of teams and playing styles in a competitive environment.

Trips like this give players the chance to compete internationally, adapt to different challenges, and spend valuable time together as a group. Sports Ventures has been proud to support GDD across several tours over the years, including trips to the UK, Italy, and Spain.

🇵🇹➡️🇪🇸 Agronomia Rugby Club Tour to Madrid

This morning, Agronomia Rugby set off from Lisbon on an exciting journey to Madrid, taking more than 130 young players aged U8 to U14 on what promises to be an unforgettable rugby experience.

The youngest groups will proudly represent the club at the renowned Cisneros Youth Festival, while the U14 squad will face off against local Madrid teams across two days of competitive matches, a fantastic opportunity to test their skills, build friendships, and grow through the game.

Agronomia continues to show a strong commitment to developing its players both on and off the field, regularly partnering with Sports Ventures to deliver high quality rugby tours. This trip follows closely on the heels of the club’s senior squad, who also recently toured Spain.
