One of the biggest misconceptions about Everest Base Camp is that it is only for extreme athletes.
In reality, many trekkers who reach base camp are ordinary people with no previous high-altitude trekking experience.
Everest Base Camp is not a technical climb.
It is a journey completed slowly, one step at a time, with proper pacing, acclimatization, and support.
There are long walking days, cold mornings, mountain tea houses, and moments that challenge you — but also silence, perspective, and landscapes that stay with you long after you return home.
The goal is not speed.
It is presence.
Small groups.
Thoughtful pacing.
Journeys that stay with you.
