Quinta do Vale just got kinder to your scorecard ⛳

The course in Castro Marim has made changes you'll actually feel:
→ Hole 2: 140 m² less sand
→ Hole 3: new forward tees, so shorter hitters now clear the stream
→ Hole 4: fairway 10 m wider, right where your drive lands
→ Hole 7: new bunker and 12 m more fairway
→ Hole 8: landing zone 7 m wider

Plus new toilets at 7 and 13, and a 9-hole academy course to warm up on.

I played it after the changes and feels much easier, more friendly, doesn't bite any more.

Same views, far less punishment. If it beat you up before, it's time to go back.

I talk about golf courses, but never about myself. So Hello 👋

I'm Gabe. I started golf 5 years ago, at 34 in Lithuania, and I once played until it got so dark that the clubhouse had to come and find me.
More then 3 years ago I moved to Portugal for a new chapter, knowing nobody. Now I live in the Algarve and run Tee Up Portugal: golf trips planned by someone who's actually here. One person, from your first message to your last putt.
