🏰 Alerte diplomatique à la Forteresse de Chinon ! 🏴
Ce soir, c'est France - Angleterre, et s'il y a bien un endroit qui sue à grosses gouttes, c'est nous. ⚽
On nous demande de choisir un camp ? Impossible. C’est un coup à déclencher une crise d'identité majeure entre nos vieilles pierres 😬
Côté cœur (et budget) : On kiffe Henri II Plantagenêt, Richard Cœur de Lion, et Jean sans Terre. Ce sont eux qui nous ont refait une beauté, construits et agrandis. Techniquement, on a un petit accent british historique. ☕
Côté raison (et géographie) : Philippe Auguste est passé par là en 1205 pour nous "récupérer" (après un siège mémorable, certes). Depuis, on bat pavillon bleu-blanc-rouge. 🇫🇷
Alors ce soir, pas de jaloux. Que le meilleur gagne ! On reste parfaitement neutre 😎

Tonight it’s France vs England, and if there’s one place that’s sweating buckets, it’s us. ⚽
Are we being asked to pick a side? Impossible. That’s enough to trigger a major identity crisis amongst our ancient stones 😬
From the heart (and the budget): We’re big fans of Henry II Plantagenet, Richard the Lionheart, John Lackland. They’re the ones who gave us a facelift, built us and expanded us. Technically, we’ve got a bit of a historical British accent. ☕
From a practical (and geographical) point of view: Philippe Auguste came through here in 1205 to ‘claim’ us (after a memorable siege, mind you). Since then, we’ve been flying the blue, white and red flag. 🇫🇷
So tonight, no hard feelings. May the best team win! We’re staying perfectly neutral 😎
