Lisbon tour. A great stop at Belem pastry

Let me share some of the pictures that I took today in Lisbon during a private tour.
Like always, we discover the downtown area of the city. Rossio, Santa Justa, Praça da Figueira...From there, we walk uphill until near the Castle.
Learning about Lisbon it's crucial to know about our culture and the way we are.
Slowly, we admire beautiful buildings, narrow streets and the best view of Lisbon from Mirador Santa Luzia.

This isn't just a walking tour. We drink and eat several times.
What do we drink?
Well...
Ginja
Vinho Verde
Red or white wine
Port wine (white)
Beer

As for food, we only taste what what's truly traditional. What locals eat and what's related to Portuguese culture.
Chamuças-Samosas
Cod fish or shrimp cakes- pasteis de bacalhau ou de camarão
Arroz de tomate com feijão - tomato rice with beans- with pataniscas de bacalhau- some delicious food made of shredded cod or carapausinhos, small fried mackerel or octopus rice - arroz de polvo.
Peixinhos da horta - tempura- yes, it's a Portuguese dish that everbody thinks it's Japanese
Bifanas - the ones Anthony Bourdain tryed and loved- or pregos no pão.
And of course, custard tarts.
Unfortunately there's no vegetarian options , as this is authentic Portuguese food, not trendy and instragramable fancy dishes.
We took 4H20 to to this tour and started at 11 am.
