Fully adapted, accessible 4 bedroom villa for the disabled & their families. Villa Luz do Sol is situated in Vale Formoso “Beautiful Valley“, in the hills above Almancil, south of Loulé, Central Algarve. It has a private and peaceful location, green and verdant garden with an abundance of bird life and a large pool with
a battery operated pool lift overl

ooking the panoramic sea views. Ideal for family holidays suited for families of all ages, elderly and wheelchair users, baby’s, and teenagers, the villa is unique in being so close to amenities and beaches yet having rural appeal usually only found far inland. The villa has been adapted for families with a member in a wheelchair. The villa is spacious and light with ramps where needed to be able to access the whole villa and garden/pool area. Adapted double bedroom, en-suite level access shower room, grab rails, shower/commode chairs, shower trolley, and hoist. Outside a BBQ area large dinning table and chairs, large covered terraces planted with beautiful purple Bougainvillea provide welcome shade during the hotter months for alfresco dining. There is also a pathway through the grass to the pool and pool lift. Included in the villa rental a complementary use of one of our WAV´s. We also include airport transfers from Faro airport to the villa and return which is a large WAV. Any mobility equipment that is not kept at the villa can be hired from a local mobility firm. Villa Luz do Sol is situated in Vale Formoso “Beautiful Valley“, in the hills above Almancil, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, south of Loulé, Central Algarve. It has a private and peaceful location, green and verdant garden with an abundance of bird life and a large pool with PAL battery operated pool lift overlooking the panoramic sea views. Ideal for family holidays with an emphasis on outdoor fun, the villa is unique in being so close to amenities and beaches yet having rural appeal usually only found far inland.Villa Luz do Sol is ideally suited for families of all ages, elderly and wheelchair users, babys, and teenagers, this unique property is for all the family to relax and enjoy a great family holiday, and one to remember the Algarve’s amazing coastline and culture. Large covered terraces planted with beautiful purple Bougainvillea provide welcome shade during the hotter months for alfresco dining. The lounge and the two doubles bedrooms lead out to the enclosed landscaped gardens and pool area, enjoying panoramic views of the coast.

Ideal for families with a member in a wheelchair, the villa is spacious and light. Adapted double bedroom, en-suite level access shower room, grab rails, 2 shower/commode chairs, shower trolley, mobile hoist, pool lift, and ramps where needed. When you book your holiday at Luz do sol, you will also have use of a WAV wheelchair adapted van, we have two Renualt Kangoos which are compliementay for your use.

Also airport transfers for a stress free journey to Luz do sol. This south west facing villa leaves the best till last… At the end of the day relax on the terrace with a glass of local Vinho Verde to watch a magnificent sunset followed by a spot of star gazing – and any lively children can take a night-time dip in the lighted pool.
