After the floods comes the cleanup. Huge downpours in Hue, Vietnam, left the city submerged and many stores and market areas under a metre of water….but with typical resilience and spirit, the city’s is slowly getting back on its feet. More rains due in the next 48 hrs before the start of the Indochine Moto, but a mere inconvenience compared to what these lovely folk have been through

A superb trip with CHC Bank last month, summiting north Africa’s highest peak, Mt Toubkal @ 4167m. The weather was kind to us, the cloud and thunder rolling in over the mountains just as we made it back to base camp for some well earned ‘Berber tea’!!

For the diary - next May, we’ll be heading to the Himalaya for the Mustang Moto, from Pokhara to the fabled city of Lo Manthang and back. 7 days of adventure riding and spaces are limited to 10 riders, so get in touch if you want to ride in the mighty Himalayas. 09-17 May 2026 ,

North Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Toubkal (4167m)….DRIFT is heading there in early September to climb it and there are a few spaces available. 3-7 Sept, in and out of Marrakech, easy as. DM me for details if you’re interested.
