Douro Valley Tour with Grape Stomping – Premium Experience

I had the pleasure of guiding this unforgettable journey through the Douro Valley with the wonderful Walker family from Toronto 🇨🇦🟦🧢 — Deon, her husband Alex, and their two daughters.
-We began the day at a family‑run w**ery, where the hosts prepared an exceptional tasting:
five w**es (three Ports and two table w**es), along with olive oil and artisanal grape jam.
An intimate and elegant start to the day.
-We then continued to a panoramic viewpoint, the kind that makes you pause, breathe, and take in the full beauty of the Douro Valley.
-Lunch was served at a rural estate, featuring traditional cuisine and the relaxed atmosphere that defines the region.
-After lunch, we entered Provesende through the main road and explored this historic village.
On the way out, we descended via the old medieval access road, a unique and almost time‑travel experience that very few visitors ever get to see.
-From there, we headed down to Pinhão, stopping at another viewpoint for more memories and stunning photos.
-In Pinhão, we boarded a traditional wooden boat, enjoying the valley from the river ...a calm, poetic perspective that complements the day perfectly.
-We ended in style at a second w**ery, with another tasting and the most lively moment of the tour:
The grape stomping, full of music, 🎶tradition, energy, and pure joy.
