CJR Renewables is progressing with the BESS Bolero project in Sierra Gorda Commune, Antofagasta Region, Chile, at 1750m altitude.

The project involves the installation of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) geared by the Bolero Este Photovoltaic Project, connected to the National Electric System (SEN) via the Nueva Laberinto substation. These lithium-ion batteries, with a 3-hour duration, will be organized into 690 battery cubes and 23 power block.

Project Details:
• Capacity: 146 MW * 3h / 438 MWh

Current Work:
• Continued earthworks
• Installation of 690 battery modules. 46 inverters, 23 Skid and 2 SSAA Transformer
• Adjustments at the existing substation and installation of cells
• Construction of prefabricated electrical rooms for substation connectivity
• Installation of MV, LV and Communications cables
• Perimeter Fencing and Drainage system installations
• Lighting and CCTV installation
• Internal road construction

With excellent progress, CJR Renewables is leading the way in delivering clean and sustainable energy in Chile.

We are proud to share the updates on our work at the High Coast Wind Farm, in Sweden — one of the most ambitious onshore wind projects in the region, with 34 Nordex turbines and a total of 204 MW of installed capacity.

CJR Renewables is executing all electrical and mechanical installation works for this project, reinforcing our expertise in WTG Installation across Europe.

Together with Nordex, we’re building more than energy — we’re building a more sustainable energy future, one turbine at a time.

At CJR, we believe success goes beyond completing a project; it also involves the impact we leave on the communities where we operate.
Through our Community Relations initiative, we foster relationships based on trust, active listening, and social responsibility.

How do we do this?
Through the Local Development Contribution Program, we support specific initiatives in areas such as education, the environment, health, and culture.

One recent example is our work in the town of Chen Chen, Peru, more specifically in the Intipampa expansion project in the Moquegua region, where women represent 11% of the workforce — with 9% being local women and mothers.
Throughout the project, we encourage our employees‘ children to be creative with art and literature contests, such as the one held in June on “Dad‘s job,” which strengthened the family connection to the project.
Because building also means leaving a mark, we want ours to be based on trust, closeness, and sustainability.

This month marked the energization of the Lordelo Solar PV Plant in Portugal. The plant is now connected to Portugal‘s energy grid, contributing 14.70 MW of clean energy. It is part of a cluster of three solar PV plants built by CJR Renewables, with a combined total capacity of 75 MW and over 140,000 solar panels.

We extend our gratitude to Sonnedix for their invaluable partnership in making this project a reality.

CJR Renewables enhances its international presence by securing a new wind turbine installation project in Austria. The project, named Loidesthal II, involves the installation of 11 V162 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.2 MW, in partnership with Vestas.

It’s worth noting that CJR Renewables has already installed 120 MW in Austria for Vestas since 2018. The turbines being installed in this project are the most powerful wind turbines the company has installed in Austria to date.

This milestone highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development, solidifying its position as a key player in the energy sector.

CJR Renewables will start the installation of 12 wind turbines with an individual capacity of 6.1 MW at the Deleni/ Vaslui site in Romania. This marks the company‘s inaugural project in wind turbine installation in the country, representing a significant step in the company‘s international expansion.

It is worth noting that, including wind, solar, and maintenance projects, CJR Renewables has already completed or is progressing with more than 1300 MW in Romania, emphasizing its role in the energy transition and contributing to a more sustainable future.

CJR Renewables has completed the Lordelo PV Plant, located in Paços de Ferreira, in Northern Portugal. With an installed capacity of 14.76 MW, the plant includes 25,662 solar panels and encompasses a significant area with access roads, cable trenches, and technical infrastructure to support three PV stations and 43 inverters.
