The September Laid-back Birdwatching Week just finished with a grand total of 142 species spotted. The Bustards, Sandgrouse and Vultures in the Alentejo were a highlight of the tour but as birds are passing on migration, we had great views of Honey Buzzards, Egyptian Vulture, several Warblers, Wheatears, Whinchats... and even managed to see the local rarities: Rufous-taild Rock Thrush and Red-necked Phalarope!
