The American Club of Lisbon had another unforgettable evening event to kick off the summer season in true ACL style—with elegance, charm, and a touch of sparkle. Guests arrived dressed in elegant all white attire, adding a visual dimension to the spirit of summer and sophistication. Members and guests were able to reconnect with friends both new and familiar over drinks and cocktail dînatoire food in the stunning gardens of the Grémio Literário, one of Lisbon’s most beautiful private mansions. With a mix of shared pleasant conversation and dancing to the music of DJ Marevi, everyone enjoyed an atmosphere of elegance that captured the very best of Lisbon in summer.

Nestled under the northeast arcade of Lisbon’s majestic Terreiro do Paço, this cafe boasts a rich history dating back to its inception in 1778. Originally a modest beverage shop known as Casa da Neve, it transformed into the Café Martinho da Arcada, serving as a favored meeting spot for influential figures including the great Fernando Pessoa.
