Hidden in the historic heart of Olhão, this restored fisherman’s house was imagined as a quiet retreat shaped by Atlantic light, whitewashed walls and the slow rhythm of the Ria Formosa.

Casa W Almirante is getting a second wind.

In the heart of Olhão’s historic Baixa, this authentic fisherman’s house is being lovingly restored to reclaim its soul.

Over the years, some of its charm had faded. We’re bringing it back, with graphic tiles, a simple yet welcoming family kitchen, and two redesigned bathrooms where the beauty lies in the essentials: white porcelain sinks, improved showers, and underfloor heating for winter comfort.

The spacious living-dining room will be entirely reworked to solve ground humidity: we’re digging deep to install drainage and add floor heating. New glazed doors will brighten the space.

And those two terraces? Once used to dry fish, they’ll soon welcome you for grilled sea bream under the stars and sunbathing on bespoke loungers.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two terraces, two facades, and a single goal: to magnify the soul of this historic home with today’s comfort.

Coming back to life, the Casa W way.

Casa W Almirante fait peau neuve.

Au cœur de la Baixa historique d’Olhão, cette maison de pêcheur typique retrouve enfin son âme.

Les années et les rénovations successives avaient effacé une partie de son identité. Nous la réinvitons avec délicatesse : des carreaux de ciment graphiques, une cuisine familiale simple, sobre et pratique, deux salles de bain repensées, où tout repose sur l’essentiel, vasques en porcelaine blanche, douches confortables et chauffage au sol.

La grande pièce à vivre sera transformée en profondeur. Nous creuserons le sol pour résoudre les problèmes d’humidité, installer un drainage et renforcer l’isolation. Puis, place au confort avec un chauffage au sol et des portes vitrées pour laisser entrer la lumière.

Quant aux deux terrasses, on n’y fera plus sécher le poisson, mais on y grillera le dîner. Elles accueilleront bientôt barbecue et bains de soleil modulables, pensés pour le farniente.

Deux chambres, deux salles de bain, deux terrasses, deux façades… et une seule envie : sublimer l’âme d’une maison de pêcheur d’Olhão avec tout le confort d’aujourd’hui.

Un nouveau souffle, dans l’esprit Casa W.
