A beautiful villa set in its own grounds, just outside the village of Pechao in the Algarve. It has a large pool, with steps that lead down, both at the shallow and deep end. There are lights around the pool for night time swimming and a locked gate for safety with young one's. The Villa comprises of 2 double bedrooms, one with an ensuite and doors that lead out onto the back veranda. Great for th

ose hot summer days when you need a shady area to enjoy lunch or a book. One twin room, a separate bathroom with a bath and shower, open plan kitchen/diner and lounge. There is a log burner for cosie evenings in the winter months, though the days are usually warm as the Algarve boasts days of sunshine most of the year. There is a pantry and an outside utility room complete with extra fridge to keep your drinks cool and a washing machine for laundry. There is also an outside toilet and shower room. A roof terrace with seating area where you can enjoy an evening cocktail or a night of star gazing. The sitting room has a television with access to Netflix etc. From the villa there are views over Pechao to the sea, and over the hills to San Miguel. Situation
Villa Pencron is approximately 25 minutes from Faro Airport, and approximately 20 minutes from Faro, by car. The nearest town is Olhao, approximately 10 minutes by car. A beautiful old Portuguese town with its meandering streets, restaurants, shops and marina. It has a fabulous farmers market on a Saturday and also a fish market and vegetable/fruit market every weekday morning. From Olhao you can catch a boat over to the Islands on the fabulous Ria Formosa. There are so many beautiful beaches in the Algarve, all easily accessible. There are also plenty of golf courses close by. The lovely village of Estoi is just a 5 minute drive. Here you can take a coffee and pastel de nata in the lovely square, visit the pink palace for afternoon tea or take a walk around the Milreu roman ruins. Pechao
Pechao has several cafe's, a few bars, a village store and off license,
a small supermarket, a butchers and an ATM. From the villa it is about a 10-15 minute walk down the lane through orange groves to the village. Shopping:
Faro town, Olhao, Forum Algarve. Several large supermarkets in Olhao and Faro. The area has managed to retain its charm of a slower, more relaxed way of life; but if you want bright lights and bustle then you can find it not too far away. The villa has always been an escape for our family from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Lazing by the pool with a cold beer or local wine, a good book, some great local cheese, bread and fruit. Followed by an early evening stroll along the marina in Olhao before a great meal at one of the many restaurants. Prices for Villa Pencron per night (sleeps 6):
