About the tea plantations, they are both great. Porto Formoso is newer, Gorreana is the one that stayed operational trough the centuries and the one I personaly prefer. You can taste the tea for free in both and you can see a video about the tea in both of them.

How to come from the airport: Take the highway to the hospital, Go to the commercial zone "Parque Atlantico" and continue down. Turn left on the traffic lights and then turn right to continue descending. On the next traffic lights turn right and then left to enter São Miguel road.
