Why I Started Adventure Anywhere Kits ✨

Traveling with kids is amazing… but let’s be real—it can also be exhausting, stressful, and overwhelming.

I remember spending hours researching activities, packing a million things, and hoping my kids wouldn’t melt down mid-flight or in a restaurant. I just wanted to enjoy the trip, but instead, I was always stressed about keeping them entertained.

That’s why I created Mimu & Me and our Adventure Anywhere Kits. They’re expert-designed, screen-free activities that keep kids engaged on the go, so parents can actually enjoy the trip. ✈️🚗🚂

I wanted something that alleviates one piece of the pressure parents feel when traveling with kids - the research, planning, sourcing, buying the toys/activities and HOPING they work.

Because family travel should be about making memories—not just surviving the trip. 💛

✨MEET OUR EXPERTS!✨

Say hello 👋 to Mandy, aka Amanda, one of my best friends and business partners!

You may have seen Mandy at one of the markets with me in the past year.

Mandy has a B.Ed and a degree in special education (B.SpEd) She was an elementary classroom teacher for 10 years and is now serving as a Special Education Consultant.

Mandy has served as an integral part in the development of our Adventure Anywhere Kits, including product vetting, suggestions, and offering ideas for how to use different products. In fact, she currently uses our activity jars and silly tongs with some of her amazing kiddos in schools!

Mandy believes in helping your little ones learn through play, whether at home or on the go, and is passionate about ensuring that our activities are age-appropriate but also help with developmental milestones. And if ANYONE knows about milestones, it’s her!

If you ever meet Mandy, you’ll learn very quickly that she is from Newfoundland, is allergic to cinnamon, and has a beautiful niece and nephew.

When I tell you that our kits are expertly-curated, this is just one of the experts behind them. With Mandy on our team, we hope you can trust in our products. We’ve thoughtfully selected every product to not only keep your child busy and engaged, but to help them meet developmental milestones through play.

Still on the hunt for the perfect gift for a young child?

Our travel activity kits are an easy option for both on the go AND at home. Each kit is curated specifically for that age group, with activities that focus on language, fine motor, and hand muscle development, as well as providing numerous different ways to keep your child engaged.

They are perfect for keeping your older child busy while you’re tending to a baby, or for a quick “grab and go” option to stow in your car for the doctor’s office, at a restaurant, on a road trip, or when visiting a friend’s house. And of course, we love them for the plane and at the hotel or vacation rental!

Our kits include:
• The Mila for ages 10 months - 2.5 years (The Mini Mi is perfect for around 2!)
• The Murph for ages 2.5 - 5 years
• The BeBeBe for ages 5-7 years

Use LOCALPICKUP for pickup in SE Calgary, or we will do local courier service all week to ensure you get it in time for Christmas!
