Where Marine Intersects with the Beach

West Kirby, a prominent coastal town situated on the Wirral Peninsula, is renowned for its distinctive tidal landscape, diverse outdoor pursuits, and thriving independent culinary establishments. West Kirby's identity is intrinsically linked to its waterfront, which provides a spectrum of experiences, from tranquil strolls to exhilarating watersports. THINGS TO DO:
- Marine Lake: A 52-acre man-made saltwater lake. It is a hub for the Wirral Watersports Centre, where you can go sailing, windsurfing, or kayaking. The promenade around the lake is a flat, easy walk with views across the Dee Estuary to the Welsh Hills.

- Beach: A sandy beach that is the starting point for the famous walk to Hilbre Island. It’s also a popular spot for kite flying and sunset watching.

- Hilbre Island: A group of three tidal islands accessible on foot from the beach at low tide. It is a Local Nature Reserve and a prime spot for seeing grey seals and rare seabirds. Note: Always check tide times before setting off.

- Caldy Hill: A large area of heath and woodland that provides panoramic views of the River Dee and the Irish Sea. It's a great spot for a more rugged hike compared to the promenade.

Be welcomed with open arms to Tria Adelphia, a Traditional family-run Greek apartment conplex near to the beach. Couples on the hunt for a beautiful escape in the heart of Arillas, Corfu simply can't go wrong with a stay at Tria Adelphia. A self-catering, family-run apartment complex featuring spacious studio and two-bedroom apartments, this is the ideal place to unwind from the stresses of daily life and experience authentic grecian charm.

The area of Arillas still retains its traditionalism but has plenty of modern influences which can be explored just a short distance away from the property. Guests will find a market and a bakery just 300 metres away while the beach and the resort centre are 1,300 metres away. Heathrow Airport will be introducing new routes this spring from Alaska Airlines, British Airways, ITA Airways, Pakistan International Airlines, and Vueling.

The launch dates for these new routes are as follows:

March 29th: ITA Airways will commence flights to Rome, Italy. Pakistan International Airlines will begin service to Islamabad, Pakistan. Vueling will offer flights to Seville, Spain.

March 30th: Pakistan International Airlines will start flying to Lahore, Pakistan.

April 19th: British Airways will introduce flights to Guernsey and St. Louis, USA.

May 14th: British Airways will begin service to Tivat, Montenegro.
