Azores Connections offered everything we looked for in a travel agent. We used azores connections to book our honeymoon and honestly was the best decision we could have made. Typically we are very detail oriented travelers who like to plan their itineraries by the hour after extensive research. However with the mental load of planning a wedding, we knew there was no way we'd have the bandwidth to plan the honeymoon of our dreams.
Andy more than delivered on this service. We wanted a perfect balance of fun memorable activities with relaxation built in, something that has been challenging for us to do in the past, but Andy was clearly an expert at setting a pace that was right for us. He noted the types of activities we like to do, and listened to what we enjoyed most from trips we've taken in the past. We love food and culture more than anything else, and he booked us a 1 on 1 personal tour on every island with a local (including one with him!) So we could really learn about azorean culture and history! Along with several food and wine experiences, this trip was definitely customised just for us!
Not only was the itinerary planned to perfection but we also didn't have to worry about any travel logistics. We received an app that had all our trip details built in and available offline. Transportation to and from every hotel was taken care of, ferry tickets were pre-purchased and accessible in our app, and most activities were either within walking distance of our hotel, or provided pick up and drop service from our accommodation. We never had to worry about what was next, how to get there, or having enough time to do get to the next thing.
