On August 14, 1385, a small Portuguese army, led by the brilliant tactician Nuno Álvares Pereira, faced a much larger Castilian force at Aljubarrota.

Against overwhelming odds, the Portuguese used their knowledge of the terrain and a clever defensive formation to secure a decisive victory.

This battle was far more than just a win; it was a cornerstone of Portuguese independence.

The victory solidified the reign of King John I, ended the succession crisis with Castile, and established the House of Aviz, a new dynasty that would lead Portugal into the Age of Discoveries.

A true testament to courage and strategic genius!

O pai partiu para o Brasil e nunca mais voltou a Portugal… Desde então, ela desejava conhecer a terra onde ele nasceu.
✨ Hoje, ajudámo-la a realizar esse sonho.
Foi mais do que uma viagem — foi um reencontro com as suas raízes, com a memória do pai e com uma parte da sua própria história.

One of our clients had a dream she carried in her heart for over 70 years.
Her father left for Brazil and never returned to Portugal… Since then, she longed to visit the land where he was born.
✨ Today, we helped her make that dream come true.
It was more than just a trip — it was a reunion with her roots, with her father’s memory, and with a part of her own story.

June 29 is the annual celebration of St. Peter and St. Paul, in recognition of the Christian virtues of the two important apostles who defended the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their lives.

Processions and popular marches are organized in the streets of many portuguese villages and music is always present. 🎊
In terms of gastronomy, grilled sardines, grilled peppers, corn bread, caldo verde and wine are the main elements of the party.

São Pedro's Day, is a municipal holiday in several locations across Portugal, especially in communities connected to the sea. 🌊

Good Friday is a religious holiday celebrated on the Friday before Easter Sunday.

It is the date on which Christians remember the trial, crucifixion, death and burial of Jesus Christ, through various religious rituals.
From the early days of Christianity, Good Friday was observed as a day of sorrow, penance, and fasting.

On Good Friday night, in Portugal, the Church performs the Via Sacra, a prayer that aims to lead Christians to meditate on the passion, death and resurrection of Christ.

Solemn celebrations take place in all churches together with processions in different villages and cities.
