The Splendid Portugal team left the office behind and headed into the heart of Northern Portugal to experience one of our favorite private tours firsthand. From the remarkable Casa do Penedo and the traditional watermills of Moinhos do Rei to the peaceful river landscapes and mountain flavors, this was a day filled with authenticity, nature and unforgettable moments.

We ended the experience exactly where every perfect day in the North should end: surrounded by vineyards, discovering the secrets of Vinho Verde production and enjoying a wine tasting inside a beautiful 17th-century estate.
