Ordering trophy tags with your name on it is very helpful. PH always puts outfitter tags on your trophies, it is true. However, it is also nice to have your personal tags:
✅ It helps to avoid mixing your trophies with someone else’s;
✅ If tags have numbers, it is easy to organize storage or taxidermy instructions using not only animals’ names but also tag numbers.

🏆 We also recommend printing the list of potential trophies and taking it with you. It helps a lot especially when the list of desired trophies is big. With this list you can easily mark what exactly you want to do with skins, like full mount or shoulder mount. Nobody will forget or cut your skin wrong way, as all sides sign and have their copy.

And the last but the least thing about the trophies: always take a picture of your trophy. Take time to take a photo of some unique horn twist, or a distinctive spot on the skin. In case anything goes wrong, it will help you to identify your trophy easily. 👌

What is a mind-blowing mountain hunt in South Africa with shooting distances of 500, 600, 700 meters and even more? 🎯

We know the answer: it is an amazing wild pig safari in the green hills of Eastern Cape. ⛰

The process of hunting is engrossing: you spot the trophy from far away, start your stalking in the mountainous scenery and try for a long distance shot. 🎖

We start with a short car drive, then climb a bit up the hill to find a nice spotting position and begin observing the neighboring hills. The spotting scopes are of a great help. The season now is best with the active rutting time. No baiting or sitting by the water hole is needed: the performance of life is staged right in front of you in the mountain setting, do not miss it! ☑
