Apolo is definitely feeling lighter — and much more comfortable.

With daytime temperatures consistently above 20°C, his winter coat had simply become too much. He was constantly sweaty and itchy, and clearly not at his best. Now he’s feeling fresh, smart and, dare we say, even a little slimmer 😁

Clipping isn’t just about appearance — it’s a matter of welfare. When horses can’t cool down properly, they overheat, sweat excessively, their skin becomes irritated and uncomfortable, and that can lead to further issues.

The nights are still chilly, so Apolo has his rug on to keep him cosy and comfortable.

Vivaldi has had his trim too — next up: Verdi, Venus and Thowra.

And here’s the answer to yesterday’s mystery.

Among the many wonderful things Vivaldi has done, he can now add escorting a young lady to her birthday celebration to the list. Inspired by the world of Bridgerton, the whole evening felt like stepping into another era.

As always, Vivaldi was the true star — calm, composed and completely unbothered by the excitement around him. He carried himself with the quiet confidence that makes him so special.

So very proud of our wonderful Vivaldi. ❤️

And maybe they’re right — we started at 6am, in the dark, with rain falling and almost no chance of catching the sunrise.

But even so, we went.

Every ride with guests is carefully planned — to meet their expectations and make them happy.
That afternoon, everything was ready: horses prepared, dogs eager, the forest calm and waiting.
But our guests never arrived.

So we went anyway.
No schedule, no plan to follow — just the horses, the dogs, and the quiet rhythm of the forest.
And maybe it was just what I needed — a rare chance to enjoy the trails myself, to breathe, and to simply be part of it all. 🌿🐴
