Well, I wasn’t expecting this! 🍑✨

These are all from one of our young flat peach trees and it’s only in its second year of production.

A couple of years ago it was a little tree with big dreams, and now it’s filling crates with the most delicious donut-shaped peaches. Every time I think nature can’t surprise me any more, she proves me wrong.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about harvesting food you’ve grown yourself. Watching the blossom appear, seeing the tiny fruits form, and then suddenly finding yourself wondering what on earth you’re going to do with all these peaches!

We’ll be enjoying plenty fresh, freezing some in cubes for smoothies, making a peach crumble (obviously!), and turning some into compote for breakfasts and desserts.

Not bad for a youngster. 💚

Feeling very grateful for this little tree and the abundance it has gifted us this year.

Today I filmed Zorro softly snoring in his stable… and honestly, it touched me deeply.

Such a simple little moment, yet it said so much. A horse who has experienced hurt, fear and uncertainty now feels safe enough to completely relax, switch off and sleep peacefully. That trust is something I never take for granted.

Animals are incredible. No matter what they’ve been through, they still have the capacity to trust again, to soften again, to feel love again when given patience, kindness and safety.

Moments like this remind me why creating peaceful spaces matters so much. 💚🐴⛺️🌱

When we first created Naturally Cool Glamping, in 2020 it began simply as an idea… a place where people could come and enjoy a holiday surrounded by nature.

But as our own journey evolved, so did the vision. By following our intuition, our dreams, and what truly felt aligned, Naturally Cool Glamping has slowly become something much deeper than just a place to stay.

It’s become a space to reconnect. To slow down. To gather around good food, nature, animals, conversation and simple living.

A place where wellness, sustainability, creativity and community naturally weave together. From growing food in our gardens, composting with our rescue horses, hosting wellness days, sharing nourishing meals, or simply sitting under the olive trees watching the sunset… every part of this journey has shaped what Naturally Cool Glamping is becoming.

Our new look and logo reflect this next chapter — softer, more intentional, more connected to the soul of what we are creating here in Algarve-Portugal 💚

And honestly… we feel like we’re only just beginning ✨

Over the last few weeks the team have been busy preparing the vegetable plot ready for planting season 🌱

As you saw last week, the horses help out here too… their poo, left to compost for a year, has turned into beautiful rich manure for our raised veg beds 🐴✨

From muck heap to nourishing the soil — a perfect little cycle of nature and a real win-win for everyone involved.

A little bit of magic, a lot of teamwork, and of course some help from our four-legged friends 💚

This has become a favourite spot for so many of our guests… and we have to agree 💚

Tucked under the olive trees, it’s one of those places you naturally find yourself drawn to.

Listening to the birds up above, feeling the stillness, and just being in nature… it has a way of slowing everything down 🌿

No need to do anything.No need to be anywhere else.

Just lying back, breathing it all in, and letting yourself fully relax.

These are the moments that feel the most grounding…Simple, quiet, and deeply connected to the land.

And somehow, they’re often the ones people remember the most ✨

This is Axel 💚

He told me he was just 4 years old when he first started questioning what was on his plate.

Not long after, he chose to become vegetarian.

When his mum planned a camping trip, they had a choice between another place… or ours.

Axel chose here.

Because it’s vegan 🌿

He spent his days with the dogs, enjoying the food, and simply being in a space that felt right to him.

No pressure. No big conversations.

Just a way of living that made sense to a little human who already knew what felt right.

And honestly… that’s the kind of thing that really stays with you ✨

We hope to see Axel and his mum again one day 💚

You don’t book this… it just happens 💚

Zorro quietly wandered through the camp while a guest sat nearby, taking in the moment 🌿

No fences. No schedule. No performance.

Just a horse, free to roam…And a human present enough to receive it.

She loves animals, and you could feel how much this meant — being so close, without control, without expectation… just sharing space.

This is what matters to us.

Our horses aren’t here for show. They’re part of the land.They move, graze, and live as naturally as possible… and in doing so, they help care for the space too 🌱

A quiet, beautiful exchange.

And often… the moments you never plannedbecome the ones you never forget ✨

We had a beautiful soul stay with us recently.

She came from Holland, on her own journey towards a healthier life… and somehow found her way here 🌿

She spent her days with us in the vegetable garden, helping prepare the beds as we get ready to plant up a storm. Simple, grounding work, the kind that slows everything down.

Of course, she fell in love with the dogs… and the horses too 🐾

Over her stay, we shared a lot — conversations, food, and the little things that support a more healing way of living. It never felt like “help”… just something that naturally unfolded.

And somewhere along the way, a really special bond formed.

The kind where you just know… this isn’t the last time our paths will cross.

She left us the loveliest words, and she’ll be back later in the year 💛

Until then, we’ll keep her a little space here.
