Our visiting chef, Sarita Bhagwat - Culinary Instructor and Chef Owner of Saffron & Savoir in Boston, with roots in India - will guide us through a fascinating historical and gastronomic exploration of Goa, a coastal region shaped by more than 450 years of Portuguese influence.

Discover how the Portuguese presence in Goa since 1510 blended traditional Indian spices with new ingredients such as vinegar and potatoes, giving rise to the vibrant flavours of Goan cuisine.

Using the freshest local ingredients and authentic Indian spices, you will take part in preparing a delicious meal to be enjoyed together in the beautiful surroundings of Monte do Álamo.
