Bake your own bread from scratch and learn about its secrets, while we take you on both a History and Gastronomy journey:

- learn when and how corn arrived to Europe while going to the granary to get the kernels, thresh the kernels

- mix different flours - part bought from Palombar, a NGO with a project designed to save the Montagu’s harrier LIFE SOS Pygargus

- plunge your hands into the dough, work it and lay it to rest.

- while the dough rises, go on a short hike around the village

- bake traditional "bolas-de-entre-lenha": a flat bread with savoury bits, in a wood oven

- enjoy the freshly baked bread together with a selection of locally produced delicacies
