Start your day with a pickup service from your preferred address within Doha city. Head to al ruwais fishing city and visit al Zubara fort in the Al Zubara archaeological site. Explore this (unesco) world Heritage site and learn about middle Eastern history and military existence in Qatar in the 18th and 19th centuries. Next, drive into the desert to reach Olafur Eliasson ultra-modern public art installation, shadows travelling on the sea of the day. The desert, dotted with traces of animals, wilderness plants, and rock formations, expands around the installation for miles, encouraging viewers to come in contact with themselves and their surroundings. The ceilings are fitted with giant mirrors reflecting the sandy ground below. The artist wants viewers to realize that when they look up, they appear again down. Connect with your environment and the floor as you discover the installation. Continue to Al-Jumail Village, an abandoned village. Explore this 19th-century village and learn why people left for the big cities in the 20th century.
