ter the sun goes down you can take the fluffy blanket and spend some time stargazing from our open-air loggia balcony that has a cozy floor covered in ash wood and it’s a very private spot in our house. This brand-new boutique-studio has a unique architectural design, due to the interesting cubic, faceted shapes of the walls and the tall geometrical ceiling. Moreover, the housing complex, Chiville, has won the “Collective Housing” section award at the 2021 National Architecture Biennale ( https://www.uar-bna.ro/2021/proiecte/469/ )
Everything but the bathroom and the balcony is open space. The bedroom area is separate, but has no door. Our flat is best suitable for 3 adults or a family of 2 adults and 2 kids! The couch in the living room is queen size (as well as the bed in the bedroom), but the dining table is quite small, being perfect for 3 persons. In case you are a family with 2 adults and 2 children , we will accommodate your second child for free ! Our nest consist of:
• 1 bedroom ( queen size bed, smart tv with Netflix, closets, nightstands )
• 1 fully-fitted kitchen with a small dining space ( oven, induction hob, range hood, refrigerator, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, cooking basics, dishes and silverware, AC )
• 1 small living room ( queen size sofa, smart tv with HBO MAX, 2 coffee tables )
• 1 bathroom ( with elegant cabin with rain shower, essentials )
• 1 open-air loggia balcony ( with coffee table, chair and bench, a potted pine tree with a refreshing scent, side view of Tâmpa Mountain, side view of the Citadel of Braşov and the symbol of our house : the monkey, a Feng Shui animal that uplifts the energy of the area where it is placed )
We offer you a FREE underground parking place with access via remote controlled barrier ( you will receive the remote at the property, along with the keys )
We love plants and we believe in their magical properties! We took care of this aspect for our guests:
- we chose aloe vera for the bedroom, because it’s one of the few plants that also releases oxygen during the night, and not only during the day. So you are going to sleep like a baby
- we have an evergreen pine tree on the balcony, because it’s the symbol of our city, we can decorate it on Christmas time without having to buy a cut one and we love its distinctive refreshing scent
- in our living room we have 3 other beautiful plants, a leander, that reminds us of Greece, a tall iucca and a bright blue cactus ( yes! ), that matched so well our carpet. These lovely plants make our space more attractive, reduce stress and, of course, have a lot of benefits for our health. Furthermore, all our windows face a street with almost no traffic, so the air is unpolluted and it’s so quiet that you can hear the birds singing.
“Uptown Monkey” is situated in a newly built residencial complex ( finished in 2020 ), the ONLY ONE in Brasov that has a natural park, a hypermarket, farmers market, a school, a hospital, a restaurant and a bus station no more than 500 meters away! A 5 minutes walk to the famous "Tampa Alley" ( Aleea de sub Tampa )
A 7 minutes walk to the city center and Republicii street, which is the most popular street of Brasov that goes straight to Piata Sfatului square and the Black Church. We highly recommend the restaurant “Millenium”, situated 4 minutes by foot from the apartment. The apartment is 5 minutes walking from an open air fruits & vegetables market situated near “Star” department store, where you can also find a supermarket. The complex is equipped with general video surveillance system.
