One day in Brasov 7 places that deserve to visit
Brasov is one of the beautiful cities in Romania that must visit. In my opinion , along with Sibiu , Brasov is another city that has capitalized well the history and worth visiting
So I want to be your guide for a day in Brasov and thus give you a list of seven places we should visit . Let's start !
Historical Centre : Square
Any visit starts with the historic center. After a walk along Republic Street along who admire the beautiful architecture buildings , you reach the Square , famous for hosting the Golden Stag Festival . All buildings in the Square of Brasov you German prove by their original architecture of this beautiful city. Square In summer you can sit on a terrace and thus enjoy all the beauty around you .

In the midst of Town Hall is hosting the County Museum of History . Also in the Square is the Church of the Assumption, Mureşenilor Museum ( Casa Mureşenilor )
Black Church in Brasov
The main symbol of Brasov , the Black Church is a few minutes walk from the Square . This is the patriarchal church of the Evangelical Church in Romania and is one of the most representative monuments of Gothic architecture in Romania . It was partially destroyed in the great fire of 1689 and thus acquired its current name . Entry costs 10 Lei
Rope Street in Brasov
How about a street that only fits a man or two on one screen ? Between Deer streets and you will find a street Schei Gate 83 meters long and a width of only 1 to 1.4 meters .
Catherine's Gate
We continue the walk and discover the beautiful South Gate or Gate Catherine built in the sixteenth century. It was built for access to the medieval citadel . The original building is preserved today only exterior tower built in 1559. On the front you can admire its city emblem
Black Tower
Black Tower offers you the opportunity for superb pictures with Brasov . This tower is one of the four observation towers of the City of Brasov built as a fortification independent . The name of this small tower comes from lightning that blackened .
Climbing up to it is easy , do it within 5 minutes and gives you the chance to create your panorama photos Brasov sure that you will envy of all your friends .
From the Black Tower you can still climb to Belvedere and then the White Tower
Street after Walls
Once down from the White Tower , possibility to take a walk on walls and streets after so get on Avenue of Heroes. Behind the Walls Street is along a fortified sides of Brasov Fortress .
Depending on the time you have, can you pass on the watch list and fortress ( or Castle Hill ) Synagogue , the Museum of Art and Tampa course
Morning walk in Brasov
A morning walk on Republic Street known as the coppersmith Lane is the perfect start for a day that combines culture, history and nature in perfect recipe for the traveler often rushed. A walk along this street seems like a walk back in time, where the sound of cars, pollution and chaotic life in big cities seem to thousands of kilometers away.
Street Republic to the Square, whole Brasov seems to sit somewhere on the border between the fascinating Middle Ages and present, often tourists waking overwhelmed by the difference between the buildings that breathe history and passers modern and rush, like any other city . Here tourists can stop for a coffee in the morning before starting the first adventure of the day.
Tampa Massif: Tourists arriving in Brasov can take the first part of the morning to enjoy nature in the area, the nature of which fits perfectly city. Built 400 meters from the town and reaching a maximum altitude of 960 meters, Tampa massif is a nature reserve that houses more than 450 types of plants including wild hyacinth, and protected fauna throughout the European Union.
By the foot of the mountain can be reached by car, and for a quick and direct way to the top is recommended Brasov cable car which reaches the top of the mountain in under 3 minutes. Tampa is absolutely gorgeous city views.
Program: The cable car runs from Monday to Friday between 9:30 to 18:00 (the last climb at 5:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. last exit from), and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 to 7:00 p.m. (the last 6:45 p.m. last climb and descent 19:00).
Tariff 9 lei for adults and children 5 lei lei or 15 round trip for adults and 8 lei roundtrip children.

Brasov Fortress : Fortress dating from the fifteenth century is a complex fortified with an area of approximately 23,000 sqm of stone . Between Brasov fortifications built by various guilds , include three towers which can be visited today with fortifications outside wall, fortress and museum Muresenilor . Between them , Bastion, located on Aleea Tiberiu Reiceanu is a perfect spot to end a city tour in typical medieval atmosphere .
