Meet Mili. 🇦🇷
At 23, Mili is the youngest in rafting world in the Green Adventure team.
Blonde and very feminine, she is not necessarily the image that comes to mind when you think of a rafting guide.
And because people don’t always take her seriously at first glance, Mili has developed a rather… strict style on the boat. 😅 A firm voice, clear commands and absolutely no room for negotiation. Just so there’s no doubt about who’s in charge.
In a sport where physical strength matters, Mili knows she can’t — and doesn’t need to — compete with a man’s strength. Instead, she makes up for it with technique. With precision. With control.
She discovered the power of the river a year and a half ago, almost by accident, during a difficult period in her life. She joined a rafting guide course, the only girl in the group, and came very close to quitting. She kept going. And somewhere along the way, she discovered that the river gave her exactly what she needed: life, energy and strength.
After an intense season in Argentina, an opportunity came up to continue the adventure in Romania. But her beginnings here were… memorable. 😅
After the first acquaintance with the Buzău river, she came out with bruised and scraped legs. On her first trip with clients, she fell out of the raft just before the Washing Machine. Then came a wasp, an anaphylactic shock and a trip to the hospital.
We started thinking maybe the Buzău River was trying to tell her something. 😂
Eventually, she made peace with the river, with the places and with the people here.
Rafting is just one of her many worlds. Back in Argentina, she has her own acupuncture and massage practice. She loves horses, CrossFit, music and woodworking. She sings and plays guitar, piano and flute — and she knows how to make an asado you won’t forget anytime soon. 🔥
She’s still exploring and figuring out where she fits in the world. And her passion shows in everything she does.
We’re just happy that, somewhere along her journey, her story brought her to the Buzău River and to Green Adventure. ❤️
