It all began in 1950, with a beautiful idea from a woman named Leontina Țăran: if Easter eggs are decorated with such care, why not houses too? That’s how the first painted home appeared, and ever since, the entire village has come to life with color. Today, the tradition lives on through skilled local craftsmen, supported by kind people and a community that knows the value of identity and honoring the past.
