Visit Harghita is the official tourism account of Harghita county since 2015, managed by the Harghita Community Development Association (ADI Harghita).
🏞️ This page was created to promote Harghita county (Romania) as a tourist destination. We are taking and sharing photos and videos about the beautiful landscapes and sights of this county, and we are trying to gather all the events held in Harghit

📲 On the 12th of 2018 December, we’ve announced the official Visit Harghita mobile application and webpage, which was made by the Harghita County Council and co-financed by the European Union. You can download it from the Google Play Store and the App Store for free. 😉 This is the only platform that answers all your questions, and gives you all need to know before choosing a tourist destination. We wish you a pleasant time! 😊

Pe 6 septembrie are loc Festivalul Balmoșului, unde puteți descoperi una dintre mâncărurile tradiționale specifice crescătorilor de animale din zonele montane.
🌾 Preparat din ingrediente locale simple, precum jântuit, lapte, mălai, unt, brânză și smântână, balmoșul are o savoare aparte, transmisă din generație în generație.

Szeptember 6-án rendezik meg a Bálmosfesztivált, ahol a hegyvidéki állattartók egyik jellegzetes hagyományos ételével, a bálmossal ismerkedhetünk meg.
🌾 Orda vagy tej, kukoricaliszt, vaj, sajt és tejföl, egyszerű, helyi alapanyagokból egy generációkon át öröklődő különleges ízvilág.

On 6 September, the Balmoș Festival will celebrate one of the traditional dishes of the mountain shepherds.
🌾 Made with simple, local ingredients such as whey or milk, cornmeal, butter, cheese and sour cream, balmoș is a dish with a unique flavour passed down through generations.

La cea de-a III-a ediție a Festivalului PRISPA, județele României își prezintă cultura, turismul și tradițiile.
În 2027, regiunea noastră va purta cu mândrie titlul de Regiune Gastronomică a Europei, motiv pentru care am pregătit bunătăți locale, precum și o publicație gastronomică specială, care reunește festivalurile gastronomice din județul Harghita și punctele gastronomice locale. 🧀
📍 Vă așteptăm în perioada 4–6 septembrie la standul nostru din Piața Sfatului, Brașov!

🇷🇴 Harghita este prima destinație verde din România! 🌿

Județul Harghita a obținut certificarea Silver din partea GreenDestinations, devenind astfel prima regiune din România inclusă pe harta internațională Green Destinations.

În cadrul auditului de sustenabilitate, județul a obținut rezultate remarcabile în domenii precum conservarea culturii și tradițiilor, managementul destinației, precum și protejarea naturii și a peisajului.

🌱 În 2027, Harghita va deține titlul de Regiune Europeană a Gastronomiei. Îmbinarea sustenabilității cu patrimoniul gastronomic reprezintă o valoare care diferențiază regiunea și o face și mai atractivă pentru vizitatorii din țară și din străinătate.

Hargita megye elnyerte a GreenDestinations ezüst minősítését, és ezzel első romániai régióként került fel a Green Destinations nemzetközi térképére.

A fenntarthatósági audit során a megye kiemelkedő értékelést kapott többek között a kultúra és hagyományok megőrzése, a desztinációmenedzsment, valamint a természet és táj védelme kategóriákban.

🌱 2027-ben Hargita megye viseli az Európa Gasztronómiai Régiója címet. A fenntarthatóság és a gasztronómiai örökség együtt olyan értéket képvisel, amely hosszú távon is megkülönbözteti és vonzóbbá teszi a régiót a hazai és nemzetközi látogatók számára.

Harghita County has been awarded the Silver certification by GreenDestinationsGreenDestinationsGreenDestinations, becoming the first region in Romania to be included on the international Green Destinations map.

During the sustainability audit, the county received outstanding evaluations in areas including the preservation of culture and traditions, destination management, and the protection of nature and landscapes.

🌱 In 2027, Harghita County will hold the title of European Region of Gastronomy. The combination of sustainability and gastronomic heritage represents a unique value that will continue to distinguish the region and make it even more attractive to both domestic and international visitors.
