Visit Harghita The official tourism account of Harghita County. With only a few clicks, you can easily access everything Harghita county has to offer tourists.

Visit Harghita is the official tourism account of Harghita county since 2015, managed by the Harghita Community Development Association (ADI Harghita).
🏞️ This page was created to promote Harghita county (Romania) as a tourist destination. We are taking and sharing photos and videos about the beautiful landscapes and sights of this county, and we are trying to gather all the events held in Harghita county.
📲 On the 12th of 2018 December, we’ve announced the official Visit Harghita mobile application and webpage, which was made by the Harghita County Council and co-financed by the European Union. You can download it from the Google Play Store and the App Store for free. 😉 This is the only platform that answers all your questions, and gives you all need to know before choosing a tourist destination. We wish you a pleasant time! 😊

🇷🇴 Una dintre specialitățile tradiționale deosebite ale gastronomiei noastre este ciorbă pojéka, strâns legată de tradițiile culinare din Ciumani și din Depresiunea Giurgeului.
Gustul intens al cărnii afumate, aroma dulce-acrișoară a prunelor uscate și adaosul specific de aluat copt se îmbină armonios, oferind acestei specialități un caracter aparte. 🍲
💠 De aceea, supa pojéka se regăsește pe lista noastră Signature Dish, care reunește preparatele reprezentative și valorile gastronomice ale județului Harghita. Inițiativa face parte din colaborarea profesională și comunitară asociată titlului Harghita – Regiune Gastronomică Europeană 2027.

🇭🇺 Gasztronómiánk egyik különleges hagyományos fogása a pojéka leves, amely szorosan kötődik Gyergyócsomafalva és a Gyergyói-medence kulináris hagyományaihoz.
A füstölt hús karakteres íze, az aszalt szilva édeskés-savanykás aromája és a jellegzetes sült levesbetét harmonikus párosítása teszi igazán egyedivé ezt a gazdag ízvilágú ételkülönlegességet. 🍲
Ezért is kapott helyet a Signature Dish listánkon, amely Hargita megye jellegzetes ételeit és gasztronómiai értékeit gyűjti össze. A kezdeményezés a Hargita – Európa Gasztronómiai Régiója 2027 címhez kapcsolódó szakmai és közösségi összefogás eredménye.

🇺🇸 One of the distinctive traditional dishes of our region is pojéka soup, deeply rooted in the culinary traditions of Ciumani/Gyergyócsomafalva and the Giurgeu Basin/Gyergyói-medence.
The rich flavour of smoked meat, the sweet-and-sour notes of dried plums, and the distinctive baked soup garnish come together in a unique harmony, making this dish a true local speciality. 🍲
💠 That is why pojéka soup is featured on our Signature Dish list, which celebrates the characteristic dishes and gastronomic heritage of Harghita County. This initiative is part of the professional and community collaboration behind the Harghita – European Region of Gastronomy 2027 title.

A kétnapos rendezvény célja, hogy újra közös térbe hozza a juhászatot, a helyi gasztronómiát, a termelőket, a szakmát és a kulturális hagyományőrzést.
2027-ben Hargita megye viseli az Európa Gasztronómiai Régiója címet. Erre készülünk, hogy megmutassuk: Hargita megye nem csupán egy turisztikai úti cél, hanem egy hiteles és fenntartható élményeket kínáló térség.

The aim of this two-day event is to bring sheep farming, local gastronomy, producers, industry professionals and cultural heritage preservation together once again.
In 2027, Harghita County will hold the title of European Region of Gastronomy. We are preparing for this occasion to show that Harghita is not just a tourist destination, but a region that offers authentic and sustainable experiences.

🏆 Brânza semitare din lapte de vacă, maturată timp de 4 luni, a obținut cel mai mare punctaj din concurs și prestigioasa distincție Treasures of the East (Comorile Estului).

🥇 Brânza Trappista, maturată timp de 9 luni, a câștigat medalia de aur.
🥈 Brânza semitare, maturată peste 9 luni, a obținut medalia de argint.

Suntem mândri că Bömbi face parte din comunitatea Open Farm și contribuie la îmbogățirea regiunii noastre! Le dorim mult succes în continuare și cât mai multe realizări frumoase! ❤️🐮

🏆 The semi-hard cow’s milk cheese, aged for 4 months, received the highest score in the competition and the prestigious Treasures of the East award.
🥇 The 9-month-aged Trappista cheese won a gold medal.
🥈 The semi-hard cheese aged for over 9 months won a silver medal.

🇷🇴 Unul dintre preparatele clasice ale bucătăriei noastre este balmoșul cu brânză, în care mămăliga din făină de porumb și brânza sărată și gustoasă se îmbină, oferind un gust aparte. 🧀🌽😋
Așezat în straturi și îmbogățit cu smântână, este un adevărat deliciu cu gust de casă. 🍽️
De aceea, preparatul se regăsește și pe lista noastră Signature Dish, care reunește aromele reprezentative și patrimoniul gastronomic al județului Harghita. Inițiativa este rezultatul colaborării dintre specialiști și comunitate, în contextul titlului Harghita – Regiune Gastronomică Europeană 2027.
