[ro] Din tura de recunoastere pentru ultimul eveniment din sezonul 2023-2024 impreuna cu Explore SKI, la Balea. Weekend plin, foarte cald dar cu oameni faini si zapada decenta daca nu te uiti in calendar.

[ro] Revin după o pauză mai lungă de la social media. Nu am stat degeaba dar timpul a fost prețios și l-am investit în oameni dragi și în ce îmi place să fac.
Am început 2023 căutând zăpada... După o săptămână de schi în Austria cu o gașcă super faină de adolescenți am găsit puțină dar faină și la noi, la Bâlea, în weekend-ul ce a trecut. Atmosferă estivală, plin de rideri și de munțomani, dar a fost loc pentru toată lumea să își dea liniile și filmele.
Timid, dar iarna a început!

[en] Coming back from a longer break from social media. I didn't stop but time was precious so I invested it in people I love and in doing things I like.
I started 2023 looking for snow... After skiing for a week in Austria with a bunch of cool teenagers I found a little snow, but of great quality, here in Romania, at Bâlea Lake, last weekend. There were holiday vibes, it was full of riders and mountain folk but there was room for everyone to get their lines and fixes.
Shy, but winter is finally here.

[ro] În săptămânile ce au trecut am inaugurat sezonul de bike prin pădurile din jurul Clujului și pe pe dealurile Bucovinei. Vremea a fost excelentă și fețele zâmbitoare au descris cel mai bine bucuria de a explora locuri noi.

[en] In the past couple of weeks we started the bike season in the forests around Cluj and on the hills in Bucovina.
The weather was perfect and the smiling faces perfectly described the joy of discovering new places.

[ro] Luni (foto 1 și video) vs. miercuri (foto 2), în aprilie, în aceeași săptămână. 😄
Weekendul acesta am avut parte de un veritabil episod de iarnă în Munții Rodnei. Am așteptat răbdători să se adeverească prognoza și, după ce duminică am verificat webcamurile din zonă și am văzut că ninge, luni am pornit dis de dimineață să căutăm zăpada proaspătă. Chiar dacă nu a fost vizibilitate ca să ne dăm în partea superioară a muntelui am bifat câteva coborâri prin culuarele ce dau dinspre Vârful Știol spre Stațiunea Borșa, stațiune numai a noastră - nu ne-am întâlnit pe munte cu nici un alt schior, sau cu oricine altcineva, toată ziua.
Azi (miercuri) am dat împreună cu Flea (cățelușa mea sportivă 😊) o tură de alergare pe iarba proaspăt răsărită pe dealurile din jurul Clujului.
Diferența de temperatură: de la -5⁰C pe Știol la 18⁰C pe dealurile din Baciu în doar două zile.

This weekend we had a real winter episode in the Rodnei Mountains. We waited patiently for the forecast to come true and, after checking the webcams in the area on Sunday evening and seeing that it was snowing, we drove early in the morning towards the fresh snow. Even if there was no visibility to get to the top of the mountain, we nailed a few descents through the forests that go down from Știol Peak to Borșa Resort. We had the place only for ourselves as we did not meet any other skier, or any other people, on the whole mountain all day.
Today (Wednesday) I went with Flea (my sports dog 😊) for a run on the freshly grown grass on the hills around Cluj.
Temperature difference: from -5⁰C on Știol to 18⁰C on the hills of Baciu in just two days.

M-am întâlnit cu Vasi in Hoia și am povestit... Nu despre fantome ci despre MTB. :)
