Золото скифов

Золотые изделия скифов из курганов «Аржаан-1» и «Аржаан-2», относящиеся к VI-V веку до нашей эры — уникальная коллекция Национального музея Республики Тыва. Они были раскопаны в начале 2000-х годов в Долине царей (возле с. Аржаан Пий-Хемского района).

В кургане «Аржаан-1» были найдены погребения вождя племенного союза, его жены и приближенных, всего 17 человек, а также останки 166 лошадей. В захоронении «Аржаан-2», диаметр которого равен 80 метрам при высоте 2 метра обнаружили останки супружеской четы, принадлежавшей к скифской элите. Из этого кургана было извлечено около 9 тысяч золотых украшений и предметов — в общей сложности более 20 кг золота высокой 990 пробы).

Драгоценности из бронзы, золота и серебра, оружие, фрагменты ткани и предметы конской упряжи пополнили коллекцию Национального музея Республики Тыва, которую негласно называют «главным археологическим открытием XXI века». Благодаря этой находке, теория причерноморского происхождения скифов подвергается сомнению, так как их родиной могла стать Центральная Азия.

Экспонаты коллекции выставлялись во многих российских городах и зарубежных странах: США, Японии, Китае, Австрии, Швейцарии, Финляндии, Корее, Бельгии, Германии.

In August, the capital of the Yenisei province, the city of Yeniseisk, will celebrate its 400th anniversary.
The city of skilled craftsmen, the center of the "gold rush" and fur trades - as it was just not called. In the XVII – XVIII centuries. Yeniseisk was famous for its icon-painting schools, and the Yenisei Fair was the main center of fur trade throughout Siberia.

Five days left before the beginning of the international rally-marathon "Silk Road" 2019.
Already on June 6, a large-scale rally will start in Irkutsk. Teams from many different countries are approaching the beginning of the path.

Today in Krasnoyarsk, we met a team from Belarus. Off-road lovers came to support the guys, participants of the off-road clubs of the city, including us.

Participants will have to overcome 5,000 km, drive through the territory of three countries: Russia, Mongolia and China, overcome the 10 most difficult stages through the taiga, steppe and go through the final battle among the oases of the Gobi desert.

Have you tried trekking?
