🇬🇧Wow! One of the others cathedrals in Russia… But it’s not!
Welcome to Trinity-Izmailovsky Cathedral. A sanity place on the Bank of the Fontanka river which attracts Orthodox believers and tourists by its majesty and incredible shrines. The oldest icon of Saint Petersburg is situated here. It’s more than 600 y.o. Also you can find an icon of Saint Xenia of Petersburg. It was painted from a portrait taken during her lifetime.
Interesting fact: In 2006, a fire that started on the scaffolding of the Holy Trinity Izmailovsky Cathedral destroyed the world's largest dome with a wooden base. The divine Liturgy in the temple began the next morning under the open sky.✨

🇪🇸¡Guau! Una de las otras catedrales de Rusia ... ¡Pero no lo es!
Bienvenido a la Catedral Trinidad-Izmailovsky. Un lugar de cordura a orillas del río Fontanka que atrae a los creyentes ortodoxos y turistas por su majestuosidad e increíbles santuarios. Aquí se encuentra el icono más antiguo de San Petersburgo. Tiene más de 600 años. También puede encontrar un icono de San Xenia de Petersburgo. Fue pintado de un retrato tomado durante su vida.
Dato interesante: en 2006, un incendio que comenzó en el andamio de la catedral de la Santísima Trinidad de Izmailovsky destruyó la cúpula más grande del mundo con una base de madera. La divina liturgia en el templo comenzó a la mañana siguiente a cielo abierto. ✨

Local Acropolis of the Leningrad Region!
The magnificent cathedral, built by the inconsolable widow in honor of the deceased spouse, unfortunately did not preserve its splendor and, most likely, after a couple of decades there will be no trace of this monument. But these ruins attract travelers and casual tourists.

For some reason, fogs are frequent in these places, which gave rise to the legend of ghosts and restless souls living in these places. And adventurers come here in search of buried treasures.

🇬🇧 Alpine view with a Russian spirit is located near St. Petersburg. The modern Lindulovskaya Grove nature reserve park, located near the Lindulovka River (now the Roshchinka River), was planned by Peter the Great for growing trees, which were later to be used in the construction of ships at the shipyard in Krondstat. Over time, they forgot about the park, which, paradoxically, benefited it. Its territory has increased and now occupies 986 ha. At the end of the 70s, centuries passed, the park received the status of a reserve, and in the 90th year it became a UNESCO heritage site.
Now Lindulovskaya Grove pleases its visitors with centuries-old trees, fresh air and beautiful views.✨

🇪🇦Vista alpina con un espíritu ruso se encuentra cerca de San Petersburgo. El moderno parque de reservas naturales Arboleda Lindulovskaya ubicado cerca del río Lindulovka (ahora el río Roshchinka), fue planeado por Pedro el Grande para el cultivo de árboles, que luego se utilizarían en la construcción de barcos en el astillero de Krondstat. Con el tiempo, se olvidaron del parque, que, paradójicamente, lo benefició. Su territorio ha aumentado y ahora ocupa 986 ha. Today we visited such a beautiful place near Saint Petersburg - Gatchina town. Interesting fact - it was Alexander the 3rd favourite residence and even became de facto the capital of Russian Empire during his reign.

Another town of the Golden Ring - Uglich. The most famous page of the Uglich history is the murder of Tsarevich Dmitry, son of Ivan the Terrible: the walls of the local Kremlin still keep the secrets of this tragedy. Uglich, in general, seems to be frozen somewhere in the past: there are many old churches, monasteries, merchant mansions, museums and other attractions, and most importantly - a special atmosphere, cozy, calm, attracting to contemplative rest. No wonder that today Uglich is one of the main tourist centers of the Yaroslavl region.

Otra ciudad del Anillo de Oro - Uglich. La página más famosa de la historia de Uglich es el as*****to de Tsarevich Dmitry, hijo de Iván el Terrible: los muros del Kremlin local aún guardan los secretos de esta tragedia. Uglich, en general, parece estar congelado en algún lugar del pasado: hay muchas iglesias antiguas, monasterios, mansiones mercantiles, museos y otras atracciones, y lo más importante: un ambiente especial, acogedor, tranquilo, que atrae al descanso contemplativo. No es de extrañar que hoy Uglich sea uno de los principales centros turísticos de la región de Yaroslavl.

Situated on the Volga river bank Rybinsk remains in a class by itself. Rybinsk attracts many tourists by its unususal for the Golden Ring towns architecture and picturesque nature.

There is a little piece of Netherlands in the center of Saint Petersburg! Welcome to New Holland – one of the most famous places among young people. This island attracts the locals and tourists because it has a nice beach where you can lay on the sun and enjoy summer days. 🌞New Holland island is also very popular in winter by its charming ice ring and Christmas fair where you can warm up with hot chocolate or Gluhwein.
