The other day I was guiding a big group of 28 guests from USA and Canada (not my own clients). We were on a big bus and wasted at least 2 hours extra because of the traffic. Actually they were out only for 8 hours each day. And we could be back to port only 17:27 and the last boarding was 17:30...
So, those, who really want to enjoy their time in Saint Petersburg and want to see everything without a rush, are highly recommended to buy private tours. I do guarantee you the best price in the city. Please don't believe to what tour managers tell you, they are just selling their tours.
