From 02–04 May and 09–12 May 2026, GiHomArts proudly hosted 60 students from (Tour & Travel Management and Wildlife & Conservation Technology) for an immersive Wilderness and Survival Techniques experience on Huye Mountain 🌿⛰️

Living in the forest for days and nights, carrying heavy backpacks filled with food and essentials, setting up tents, searching for water and firewood, cooking under rain, and navigating through nature using GPS, compass, and binoculars… this was not just training — it was REAL survival 😅🔥

Every step challenged resilience, teamwork, and connection with nature. And guess what? They made it through stronger, smarter, and more inspired 💪🌍

At GiHomArts, we believe the best classroom is nature itself.

From 27–29 April 2026, we hosted amazing trainees from RP Kitabi College for an intense Wilderness & Survival experience at Huye Mountain.

Carrying their own gear, cooking under the rain, setting tents, building toilets, fetching water, and navigating with GPS & compass, binoculars, … this was not just a hike, it was real survival learning!
