Nziza safaris we admire Bisoke it is an adventurous and exciting activity that can be done by even in experienced hikers ,hiking mount Bisoke is a one _day activity that takes around 6 hours to reach the summit and 2 hours to descend .the hike begins with a briefing in kinigi where the park offices are .

The Mount Bisoke Crater lake hike involves trekking to the peak of the bisoke volcano where you are rewarded with the breath taking scenery and views of the largest Crater lake of the virunga Mountains .this is the most popular hiking trail in volcanoes national park and arguably in Rwanda

Do not forget to include it on your gorilla tours to around off the real adventure in Rwanda the land of a thousand hills

Nziza safaris we admire pied kingfishers are widely distributed across Africa and Asia .Males have a double black band across their breast .

Female have a black chest that is often broken with a white stripe in the middle .They are sociable birds that are usually found in pairs or small family groups and form large roosts at night.

Pied kingfisher hovers when searching for prey above water . This behaviour allows hunting over large water surfaces ,being the only king fisher able to move away from the shores .usually ,it performs a rather slow flight ,often high above the water before diving to catch it's prey . This bird is found in Akagera National park

Nzizasafaris we admire The Ruppell's starling these Birds are often found in small flocks .Ruppell's starlings have a range of songs that includes harsh ,sounds ,sweet notes ,and some mimicry .they can sometime be heard in the middle of the night .

They nest in tree holes or in holes formerly occupied by wood peckers and line nests with dung and sticks .these Birds are found in Akagera National park
