Taif is known as the City of Roses, home to some of the finest rose perfumes in the world. The roses bloom only once a year, in March and April, and are handpicked at dawn to preserve their scent. What makes them even more special is that their rose water is used to wash the holy KaΚΏbahβ€”an honour unique to the roses of Taif.
